BLESSING NTOFON
Branch Manager (Akwa Ibom, Nigeria)
What do you think power dressing is about for women?
Power dressing is a complete package for a woman. It’s
about self-confidence and attitude. Women no longer
need to wear powerful-looking clothes in order to earn
respect from their peers in the workplace but to be sim-
ple, graceful… yet powerful.
Flats or heels?
Heels but provided you are comfortable. It gives ele-
gance when not in a relaxing mood and preferred.
Do you dress down at the weekends?
Weekend dressing is a function of the social calls. There
are weekends where business casual or otherwise will be
defined by the occasion of the day. Whatever the call
is, appearance will be tailored to meet the need. Where
there is an opportunity to dress down however, I take it.
What is your favourite accessory?
Handbags
Do you dress for men or for other women to appreciate?
To be honest, my dressing is a personal conviction. It
is self-representation. If anybody (man and woman) is
fascinated, I believe there is something to learn. I dress
to inspire self and not for others. However, in inspiring
self with my dressing, good appearance engenders easy
acceptance by others.

What informs your style of dressing?
Putting an effort to what you wear and how you look
will have a positive effect on your overall lifestyle.
Do you dress down at the weekends?
Yes, I do. As a matter of fact, I would do anything to
get into my jeans and t-shirt on weekends or public holi-
days. I love my casuals and would get on it at the slight-
est opportunity.
Who is your favorite designer?
None in particular. Anything stylish, classy and simple
works for me, even though I recently ran into Victoria
Beckham brands and I think I feel very comfortable on
their pants suit.
How important is fashion to you?
I am very passionate about it. A well-dressed person
with good style will look nicely put together, confident
and elegant. As a sales person with sales orientation,
I am sure looking good actually open doors for me.
Dressing sharply is the first step to attracting and keep-
ing wanted attention. Dressing well is the first step to
overall self-improvement.
Do you dress for men or for other women to appreciate?
I dress for myself. For me looking good is good business.
