Kwara is one of the oldest states in the Nigeria. The state is home to the highest waterfall in West Africa and the
first museum in Nigeria.

DAY 1:
We took off from Lagos and went
through the Ibadan - Ogbomoso -
Ilorin road. The first stop was the muse-
um in GRA Ilorin, even though it was
locked for the holiday, we had the
popularly ‘ponmo’ (cowhide) pep-
per soup before leaving for the zoo
at University of Ilorin. We enjoyed the
canopy walk and saw the animals in
the enclosed spaces. We departed
later for Omu-Aran where we lodged
close to Landmark University.
DAY 2:
The next day was the main tour to see
the highest waterfall in West Africa,
Owu Falls. We drove to the quiet town
