Africa has a really fun side that not
many people know about.
What is the most embarrassing thing
that has ever happened to you?
Oliver:
Nigeria, a land of plenty and
immense abundance of human and
natural resources, yet unemployment,
corruption, hunger, poverty and poor
infrastructure rule the day… a very
embarrassing state to be in
Note:
We all agree with Oliver. I wish
many more people would realise it is
an embarrassment and indictment of
us all as a people.
What are you most scared of?
Oliver:
Failure. Never should it be
recorded that the present generations
of Africans which I am part of, failed
to change the wrong narratives on
Africa
Note:
Somehow I just can’t see Oliver
failing at anything so this gives me
plenty of hope that our generation will
make the change that is needed
What is the funniest thing you’ve
ever seen or experienced?
Oliver:
I love and enjoy Comedies

mouth etc to the newest kids like Fresh

I was actually not surprised to
hear this as ED Oliver has had me
cracking up several times before. He’s
got a really good sense of humour
What would you do if you weren’t
working at UBA?
Oliver:
UBA is my natural habitat. The
question is like asking how fish would
survive on bare ground
Note:
Yes, after so many years of
dedication, this was not a wise
question to ask him.
What is your biggest personal pet
peeve?
Oliver:
Lies. Can you imagine
somebody opening his mouth to say
things that he never knew happened
and wants you to believe it?
Note:
I also really hate it when that
happens.
