wins Spirit of
Lagos Citizens’
Day Award
Imaobong Etuk honoured for Out-
standing Performance
Oduoza, Mobil MD advocate Oil In-
dustry reforms
For its contribution and commit-
ment to building a sustainable
community in Lagos State, UBA
Foundation has won the inau-
gural “Spirit of Lagos Citizens’
Day Award” in the Business and
Corporate Organisations catego-
ry.
The award was handed out in an
elaborate ceremony held at the
Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos state
on Wednesday, May 27, 2015.
The Citizens Day award is set aside
by Lagos State to recognize and
celebrate individual and corpo-
rate citizens doing extra-ordinary
work in their communities, busi-
nesses and the public service.
The MD/CEO, UBA Foundation,
Ijeoma Aso received the award
on behalf of the Foundation.
Imaobong Etuk, the BM of Ebeano
Housing Estate, Enugu, has been
honoured for outstanding perfor-
mance.
At a specially organized ceremo-
ny (TGIF) on Friday, April 17, 2015,
GMD/CEO, Phillips Oduozapraised
her outstanding performance that
has resulted in increased business
to the bank, leading her Business
Office to control about 90% of
public sector accounts in Enugu
State, in South East Nigeria.
The GMD also announced her pro-
motion to a Senior Manager at the
event. Etuk was employed on July
2013 as a Deputy Manager and
later confirmed as a Manager.
Mr. Phillips Oduoza, GMD/CEO, UBA
Plc and Managing Director, Mobil
Producing Nigeria Unlimited, Mr. Nolan
O. Neal have jointly called for the
reform of Nigeria’s oil sector.
They made the call during a visit by
UBA Management team to the Lagos
office of Mobil Producing Unlimited on
Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
Both business leaders agreed dwin-
dling oil revenue, decreasing invest-
ment in real sector, and revenue
leakages, required comprehensive
reforms to position Nigeria on the path
of sustainable growth.
Led by GMD, the UBA delegation
