UBA joins the Convention on Business Integrity
UBA Cote d’Ivoire, other banks syndicate loan for
Fonds d’Entretien Routier
UBA Cote d’Ivoire’s role in the
syndication further affirms its
strategic position as a strong
supporter and partner in the
development of Cote d’Ivoire.
A signing ceremony for the
loan syndication was held at
the office of the Minister of
Finance, Mrs. Nialé Kaba, with
the Minister of Infrastructure,
Mr. Patrick Achi; the Minister of
Budget, Mr. Abdou Rahmane
Cissé; FER’s Managing Director,
Mr. Siandou Fofana, as well
as the Managing Directors of
all the participating banks in
attendance.
The funds raised will be used to
revitalize the road network in
Cote d’Ivoire.

BA has joined the Convention
on Business Integrity (CBi),
whose codes define a
minimum standard for business
integrity in Nigeria. Membership was
marked by a ceremony that took
place in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Convention on Business Integrity
was established with the aim of
promoting ethical business practices,
transparency and fair competition
in the private and public sectors.
Signatories to the Convention
undertake to observe the values

BA Cote d’Ivoire and six other
banking institutions in Cote
d’Ivoire, syndicated a loan of
XOF 130 billion (US$ 260 million) to
the FER (Fonds d’Entretien Routier),
the government agency in charge
of the development, rehabilitation
and maintenance of roads.

The ceremony, which was
witnessed by the Group’s
Board and Executive
Management, represents
