Cote d’Ivoire Government
Commends UBA
U
BA has been commended for its role in
providing critical funding for infrastructure
development, treasury support and the
deepening of financial inclusion in Cote d’Ivoire. The
commendation was made by country’s Prime Minister
and Minister of Finance, Mr. Daniel Kablan Duncan
during a bilateral discussion between UBA Plc and
the Office of the Prime Minister held in Abidjan.
The Prime minister solicited UBA’s support towards
developing the country’s energy sector as the
government concludes plans to triple the electricity
supply for export to neighbouring countries.
Responding, GMD, Mr. Phillips Oduoza thanked the
government for providing an enabling environment
for private sector investments in the country.
Speaking during a cocktail party held in his honour
during his working visit to Cote d’Ivoire, Oduoza said

an efficient and secured
e-payment solution for U-MALL,
a new e-commerce platform
launched in Lagos, Nigeria on
Thursday, October 10, 2013.
