While male bosses outnumber female bosses
in the world of small business, numerous
surveys have proven that women are better
in this role than their male counterparts.
Women communicate better, are effective
listeners than men which is a powerful skill for
employee and customer’s management. They
have stronger business ethics than men, are
more patient and are less likely to jump to an
immediate conclusion or make quick decisions
unlike men.

Since the beginning of my professional career
at UBA I have always had women as my
bosses. I learned a lot from them and I am
greatly grateful to them because the more they
have given me the more my enthusiasm at
work has brought me to where I am today.
It is also true that studies such as that of the
International Journal of Business Governance
tend (2008) or that carried out on CAC 40
companies underline that women make
better bosses. The fact that many companies
encourage female candidates when recruiting
is a palpable example of the growing
importance of women. With equal training and
competence, women are also good leaders of
men.
Speaking of UBA, I can say that the number
of women in strategic positions is growing. In
view of all of the above, I would say for my part
that the work of women is increasingly valued,
which is why they occupy an increasing place
in strategic decisions.

empathy, a sense of organization and above all

exceptionally true. I say this because women
are natural managers who handle different
responsibilities under the immense pressure
of expectation. History reminds us that women
were overlooked and marginalized until the era
of feminism which revolutionized and paved
the way for the modern woman today.

It’s easier to approach women leaders with
a personal request, or a sensitive question.
They care about their team and their well-
