HEALTH
DIA HERMANN/LEGAL AFFAIRS OFFICER CDI
I do a lot of sports, very often after a
long and hard day. Sport allows me to remove stress and remain on the go. My sleeping time is scheduled and mastered, I typically sleep 5h30 everyday. Having a sleep routine/schedule really helps. Finally, I drink a lot of water in order to clear my body of impurities. This is my little secret!
CAROL NAKAWESI/ E-BANKING UGANDA
First thing in the morning, I drink a warm cup of water and go for a run. This gives my metabolism a boost. At work, I take the stairs to build muscle and burn extra calories; I also maintain a strict diet. My favourite thing to do however, is walking home from work. Fitness isn’t about size for me, I am fitter than many people smaller than me.
DIABY ABOUBACAR/ CFO GUINEA
Despite my busy schedules at UBA I sometimes find time for a shaping. I prac- tice football in my neighborhood every Sunday between 7am and 9am. Also
for all distances of less than 5 km to go during the weekend, I prefer doing it on foot instead of using my car. I also pay attention to what I eat. I avoid sugar and fat. I prefer fruits and vegetables as much as possible because for me to maintain a healthy mind, it takes a healthy body.
LIONEL MASSAQUOI/BM CONGOTOWN LIBERIA
I take advantage of weekends and play football every weekend. With my sched- ule, I do not have time to go to the gym. So Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are my days to work out.
