World Economic
Forum (WEF)
The World Economic Forum (WEF)
Annual General Meeting kicked off
Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Davos,
Switzerland. UBA Chairman, Mr. Tony
O. Elumelu, CON, and UBA GMD, Mr.
Phillips Oduoza were at the global
event and participated in different high
level panels as influential voices for the
African private sector.
Mr. Elumelu participated at different
panels discussing the various challenges
facing the African continent where he
challenged African leaders to “start
doing, and stop talking.”
Also, GMD was a key speaker at a WEF
session that focused on "Africa's Growth
Markets; what societal, economic and
political shifts are accelerating Africa's
competitiveness," where he called for
increased regional collaboration in
Africa.
