Ennedi Desert
The Ennedi Desert used to be underwater, so it has
many rock formations and sea arches. It is located
in the Sahara Desert in north-eastern Chad. The
desert contains prehistoric cave paintings from the
past. It also has small, hidden, blue-green desert
lakes and slot canyons to explore.
Chadians consider greetings as a very vital aspect
of socialising in Chad. A hand shake usually follows
the verbal greeting. Asking after the person’s
health, work and family are most often the common
questions asked during greetings even if you
are meeting for the first time. Eye contact and a
smile during the handshakes are very important. It
doesn’t really matter who gives the hand first.
