Working with UBA has been an inter- esting experience, especially with the policy and standards that UBA has set over the years; standards that are higher than other banks. UBA has instilled certain cultures driv- ing you to be excellent in whatever service you are delivering and that you should have the end in mind and it’s not just about getting the job done but getting the job done very well.
I have been with UBA for 3 years now. In two words UBA means ‘excellent banking’. I want to say thank you to the management of UBA for creating this platform and allowing young people to prosper and give out their best. UBA has given us the enabling environment to bring out our views and to put into practice our skills and knowledge, and this has also enabled customers to benefit from the various services and products offered by UBA.

My journey with UBA has been a very exciting one, filled with new challenges. As part of the pioneer
team for UBA Cameroon, I had the opportunity to contribute in building an organization which has built a sound reputation in Cameroonian banking sector within a short time.
As a young graduate, UBA provided me with a world class working envi- ronment that gave me the opportu- nity to express my knowledge and skills, to think critically when solv- ing problems. I had the opportu- nity of creating a solid foundation for a great career as I benefited from a four-month training program organized by UBA Academy and also worked in various departments guided by the bank’s world class procedures and processes. I also learned how to work with and be very relevant in teams and UBA’s
core values helped groom me into a humble, focused, disciplined and result oriented professional. UBA is such a fun place to work, a goal driven institution and a custom- er friendly institution.
In UBA, the customer is the top priority and the demands on staff could be so high at times. However, management always does its best to ensure staff satisfaction is at its best and it’s one of the areas that has known continuous improvement
since I joined the bank.
