It is a pride to work in a Group like UBA. I have been working here since January 02, 1997, so that’s 22 years of service. I am currently Assistant to Human Resources at UBA BENIN in charge of recruitment, redeploy- ment, monitoring and termination of contracts, events and welfare.
M. KOROTY Ousmane
Country Manager Digital Banking, Chad
Having contributed to the laying of the foundation of UBA Chad, I can say I am very pleased to be part of this project which has continued to flourish,10 years from June 1st, 2009. I was Head of E-Banking from 2009- 2013, then Head of Sales, Digital Products from 2013-2018 and now Country Manager Digital Banking.
Rose Diakhaté
Relationship Officer, Senegal
I have learned a lot from UBA over the past 8 months. I joined from another bank and I quickly realized that the procedures are quite spe- cial here. What fascinates me most is the importance the bank places on the quality of customer service.
Phyllis Awurabena Adu
Head, Treasury Sales, Ghana
Prior to joining UBA Ghana, I had observed with keen interest, the strides UBA had made on the African continent and the impact TEF con- tinuous to make even beyond Africa; the commitment to high performance and the unrelenting persistence in achieving excellence. Hence, my excitement to be part of a Pan-African bank that was actually making a global change! I must add that it was even more exciting when I was fortunate to be part of an induc- tion group that got a BBC cover.
Joining has been one of unmitigated learning to see almost every banking expertise at play at the highest level. No matter the nature of proficiency you are looking for in banking, UBA
has it in abundance.
I have been with the bank since March 2017. The greatest impact on me so far is the sharpness devel- oped in customer service skills which was pleasantly recognized by the Regional CEO last year. I can con- fidently say that my experience at UBA Ghana has made me a better banker with enhanced technical and soft skills. I am better now than I previously was and with a deter- mination that is unshakeable and unruffled. My strategic outlook has been boosted due to the blend of cultures and the international perspective that I have come to
embrace.
Divin MPANDZOU
Head Public Sector, Congo Brazzaville
For my part, I especially want to wel- come the expansion efforts of the UBA group. It is true that it is a recent step in its 70 years of existence, but I am proud of the promotion of multiculturalism within our bank where different African cultures and different languages coexist for all, to
win Africa.
“
Working at UBA is a very great privilege. Especially in the sense that it has positioned itself among the best banks in Africa and currently the first in terms of digital banking... In short, UBA is the bank of the present and the future.”
