Imencio Moreno
Credit Risk Manager, Senegal
Recruited in 2009, I’ve had varied and rewarding experiences starting with the language barrier, a work culture that was too different but interesting, a different approach to markets even through the policies and procedures that were gradually domesticated in the working envi- ronment. I’ve met, thanks to UBA’s African network, men and women of quality and very professional too.
Kadiatou-Ina DIALLO
Country Head, Retail Banking, Mali.
Working for UBA is a very fulfilling and worthy experience. I had worked for other banking groups but I must say that UBA is the only place where you really feel part of a tribe. The brand is very strong, the commitment and the vision are widely shared with the entire staff.
Ehimare Ehihamen
CEMAC Regional Credit Officer, Nigeria
I joined UBA in February 2013, so I have worked here for 6 years. Being in UBA has taught me to be respon- sible and accountable. In the last 6 years, I have moved from being a rookie credit analyst to being a cred- it officer for an African sub-region.
FRANK MACHA
Head, Information Technology, Tanzania
I work in the IT department in Tanzania. Since inception, we have grown higher in terms of services. We were doing normal banking but now we are in the digital space as you can see with LEO, our Facebook chatbot. He helps with transactions, so you don’t have to come into the bank. I built my career here, from IT support to IT Manager.
Fallone NDENGUE
RM, Public Sector, Congo Brazzaville
It is rare for a financial institution to have such a long life in Africa. I also welcome UBA’s initiative to expand beyond Nigeria’s borders first, which has allowed me to join the Lions Tribe, but also to dare to go beyond the borders of Africa to export our
know-how.
It is a real pleasure to belong to a group that aspires to create a great place to work for its tribe. I have been with UBA for 7 years and 6 months. So I feel like I grew up here and I feel fully part of this big family. During these 7 years, I was a RO then BM in the Retail Banking department for 4 years. I am now RM, in the
Public Sector Department.
Iroro Osawota
Business Analyst, Nigeria
I have been in UBA for three years and 4 months. I enjoy among other things, the people I work with and the nature of tasks assigned to me. UBA provides a robust platform for me to challenge myself always. My time in UBA has taught me to be patient and take every task as an opportunity to develop myself pro-
fessionally.
FINA ANDREW
Finance Officer, Tanzania
I work with the Fin Com department as a Performance Officer. I started in UBA, in August 2010. I don’t regret the job because it has been amaz- ing, it has been like a college. I have learnt a lot in this industry, I have built my career, I am very comfortable
and I am grateful to God for UBA.
