he Lion is an elegant animal that
prides itself on the way it presents,
even when it is about to prey.
Accordingly, UBA has a reputation for
staffing some of the best-dressed women
and men in Africa following the example
of the Group Chairman, Mr Tony Elumelu
who is ranked as possibly the best
-dressed business man on the continent.
Whether he is in his Savile row couture
suits, sporting Prada or his signature all
black, smart casuals, the chairman is always
perfectly turned out.
In this edition, we surveyed UBA staff across the
group to nominate the best-dressed male staff
members in the bank. These were the names that
came up trumps (no pun intended):

GMD/CEO
Often dressed in Gucci and sometimes Versace,
you would think that Davido had KU in mind
when he sang ‘If’. Our GMD ‘represents’ and
will always make us proud when he steps into the
office, a meeting or an event.
‘Make sure you look your best’ he constantly
says. ‘From your hair to your shoes, you must
ensure that you are representing the brand well.’
He admonishes odours and advices that taking
care of your sanitation is part of looking good.
