Banking gets
personal
As customer needs get more sophisticated, banks are getting more
personal with their services. Though product innovation and technology
have become distinguishing factors in the industry, the trump card
remains customer service.
Our lead article in this edition of the Lion King Magazine (LKM) looks
at personal banking, especially from the point of view of providing
excellent customer service to earn customer loyalty.
Africa is home to some of the brightest people either in business,
academics, medicine and all such human endeavors. In our Q3 Lion
King we take you into the world of Akon, the international music star.
The feature is not about his music but rather about something I will
leave to your imagination.
Burkina Faso is our “Country in Focus” destination this time around.
Read about the class system of the Mossi ethnic group in Burkina Faso
and other interesting things about the country of the upright people
as they are fondly called. Still on Burkina Faso, Joel Toure, the MD/CEO,
UBA Burkina Faso shares some his thoughts on a number of issues
including why UBA Burkina is the preferred bank in the country.
As with previous editions, the LKM is packed with articles on fashion,
books, movies, and many more to entertain and engage you.
Please do read and endeavor to send us your feedback.
