 Indeed, a country of great legacy and home to one of the seven wonders of the ancient world – the great pyramid of Giza, the Arab Republic of Egypt, as it is official- ly called today, boasts of several other iconic monuments such as the Great Sphinx in Giza, the ruins of Memphis, The- bes, Karnak, and the Valley of the Kings,

The country has gradually grown to become one of the modern hubs of Africa, boasting of numerous airports, modern marinas, and major cities that are connected through a network of well built highways.
THE MIGHTY NILE
Arguably the longest river in the world, the Nile is a major north-flowing river in north-eastern Africa, and is the longest river in Africa. The river starts in Burundi, collects water from 11 African countries, ends in a large delta in Egypt and flows into the Mediterranean Sea.
The Nile River basin, according to Britanni- ca, served as the stage for the evolution and decay of advanced civilizations in the ancient world. Egyptian civilization drew spirit from the river. The old saying ‘Egypt is the gift of the Nile’ comes from the believe that without the river there would be no fertile land, no food and no development.
