The start of a new year is always a great time for reflection and change. Many
of us begin the new year with New Year Resolutions as a way to guide us and
change bad habits we previously had, why not have ‘fashion resolutions’ as
well? Here is a guide to what’s trendy in 2017, hopefully this will help a lot of us
to steer away from bad fashion choices.
While skinny and boot cut pants
have been the fashion norm for
years, wide legged pants are making
a comeback and thank God for
that. Flattering on most figures, they
elongate your legs and make you
look slimmer, no complaints here.
Don’t be afraid to be dramatic, the
wider the better.
For those of us who gained weight over the holidays
from enjoying the holidays a little too much and
eating everything in sight, this is the perfect solution.
Oversized tops and dresses are a great way to hide
that extra weight until we can get it off.
BARDOT TOPS
The ‘off shoulder’ trend is here to stay. Bardot tops, which
first became trendy in the 50’s, recently had a revival in 2016
and the trend is continuing on to 2017. Long sleeved, short
sleeved, puffy sleeved etc. as long as your shoulders are on
display, you’re on trend.
