aking advantage of the coastline,
Cote d’Ivoire has many beach-
es surrounded by coconut trees.
From San Pedro to Bassam through
Monogaga, Assinie, the choice is vast
for a swim in the sea. And for those
who do not want to get their feet wet,
the Abidjan Transportation Company
(SOTRA) organizes tours of the lagoon.
Some interesting sites include; the
boats cemetery, Billionaires Bay and
the islands around Abidjan including
Ile Boulay.
From the banks of fine sand to lux-
ury hotels and Hollywood homes,
Assinie is a peninsula consisting of two
wonderful villages whose splendour
and beauty are incomparable. With
20 hotels, Assinie offers an equally
enchanting visitor a site of relaxation
and excursions, the island Assinie is
characterized by a calm that is its
beauty.
If you’re looking to have fun you can
go paintballing in Port Bouet, bowling
in Strike Ball located in Marcory, or ice
staking in the brand new Abidjan Mall
located in Rivera Bonoumin.

of the lagoon. The Plateau is the central
business district of Abidjan.
