Located on the borders of
Guinea, Mount Nimba, about
1,752m is an area of great
ecological wealth. Rich in iron
ore, its sides are covered with
dense forests and peaks of
grassy mountain pastures. It
has been listed since 1981 as
a Biosphere Reserve and World
Heritage Site by UNESCO.
