How have you been able to com-
bine your very busy schedule with
finding time for family?
My family, immediate and extend-
ed, is the best gift God has given
me. They are quite understanding,
supportive and accommodating
with my very busy work schedule. I
will never trade them for anything.
People refer to me as a workaholic
or a man in a woman’s body; how-
ever I am still a hands-on mother
and wife. I have the ability to multi-
task effectively and this is really my
strength. I create time from my busy
schedule to attend to the needs of
my family.
Where is your favourite holiday
spot?
My favourite holiday spots are
Monaco, Miami, South Africa and
Abeokuta.
Do you make New Year resolutions?
No, I do not make New Year
Resolutions. A New Year is often
the perfect time to turn a new
page in one’s life, which is why so
many people make New Year’s
resolutions. This is a form of “cul-
tural procrastination” and an effort
at self-reinvention. People make
resolutions as a way of motivating
themselves. But for me, I am always
motivated as a result of being self-
driven. New Year resolution does
not work for me.
What will make you happy on a
Monday morning and on a Friday
evening?
This question, in my opinion, is very
broad but I will limit my response
to the Job. On Monday, I come to
the office, go to my Project Alpha
Dashboard on the system and see
that my SBG CASA has grown; my
entire team is energized and all my
branches are performing well. A
word of encouragement does help.
On Friday, I reflect on my week’s
plans and I have achieved every-
thing I set out to achieve. Of course,
I look forward to Thank God it is
Friday (TGIF), a time to relax and
have fun on Saturday and Sunday
with family and friends. The week-
end is also a time for me to take
care of ‘SELF’. This helps take away
the pressure of the week and help
with starting off the new week on
Monday.
