D
ressing and looking good at all
times has a way of actually pro-
jecting a very superior image of
you. “When you dress well, you exude
confidence. People, even strangers,
pick up on this. In return, they give you
respect, and trust goes hand in hand
with respect” says fashion expert, the-
modestman.com.
When you dress well, you look smart
and get noticed. Your bosses get
the impression that they can entrust
you with higher responsibilities, which
sometimes leads to promotion. Your
colleagues admire you and want
to associate with you, and people
generally assume you are a person
of great importance. So when you
speak, everyone listens.
You do not just attract attention, you
also feel good about yourself when
you step out of the house looking
good. Yes, your attitude is affect-
ed by how you dress. According to
The Washington Post, a study from
professors at the Kellogg School of
Management
at
Northwestern
University shows that “what you wear
could affect how well you work.” The
study which was focused on how
dressing affects the wearer indicates
that what you wear can also influence
how you perceive yourself.
If you are not in the habit of dressing
well, step up to the challenge of dress-
ing impressively and you may be sur-
prised at how impressed with yourself
you would be.
Sometimes, it is not so much about how much
you earn, the position you occupy or how much
you can afford to spend on your wardrobe.
Sometimes, it is just all about how you want to
feel and how you want others to feel about you.
