the Group Head, IT Risk Management/
Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
for United Bank for Africa. He is responsible
for managing information technology and
electronic banking risk for UBA group which
covers Nigeria and 18 African Countries.
He has over 23 years work experience
cutting across manufacturing, consulting
and banking sector.
Sam led UBA to establish the first functional
24/7 state-of-the-art Security Operations
Centre in sub-Saharan Africa and also
mentored most of the industry information
security heads. In this interview with LKM, he
speaks about several IT related issues at UBA
and within the banking industry generally.
