ion world. The sleek and modern designs have brought
global attention to the fashion sense of Africans; little wonder
it is not uncommon to see modern African traditional attires
incorporated into corporate dress codes in offices on Fridays.
These native outfits not only speak volumes of the African

white simple native attires complemented with a cap. How-
ever, this is in no way restrictive, as you can still choose from a
wide gamut of designs and cool fabrics to define your style.
Ladies however, have more colour and design choices as
there are no restrictions. You can choose from any type of
fabric – Ankara, Adire (tie-and-dye), local wax prints or even
mix and match fabrics. For instance, by simply joining Ankara
with other fabrics you can achieve an avant-garde design
that will definitely stand you out in a sublime way. Matching
beads and other local accessories can then be used moder-
ately to add a touch of class to the whole ensemble.
