DMD Leads Consumer Banking
Division on a Nationwide
Sensitisation Exercise

MD, Mr. Kennedy Uzoka,
recently led the Consumer
Banking Division on a
nationwide sensitisation exercise
to various regions of the Bank.
The exercise was aimed at
sensitising Staff on the new SBU
structure with a focus on driving
a holistic growth-oriented Retail
Products system. The new
structure will grow the Bank’s low
cost liabilities in a sustainable
manner.
The exercise which commenced
in Lagos on January 14, 2013 was
subsequently followed by Abuja,
North Central Bank, Enugu,
Kaduna and Ibadan.
The DMD was accompanied by
the Director, Consumer Banking
Division, Mr. Ilesanmi Owoeye;
Divisional Head, e-Banking, Dr.
Yinka Adedeji; Divisional Head,
Performance Management, Mr.
Joshua Gbolahan; Group Head,
Corporate Services, Mr. Chuks
Onwusah; Technical Adviser
to the DMD, Mr. Tunji Hassan;
and other Retail and e-Banking
Products Managers.

Customers Win Return Tickets, Other Prizes in
UBA-MoneyGram Fly High Promo
T
he UBA-MoneyGram “Fly High Promo” came to
a rewarding close on Friday, February 1, 2013 as
50 customers including senders and receivers
of money through MoneyGram Transfer Services
emerged winners.
During the draw of the Promo at the UBA
Corporate Office in Lagos, 10 lucky customers
of the Bank who used the MoneyGram platform
between December 1, 2012 and January 31, 2013
emerged winners of return tickets (All Expense Paid
3-Day Trip) to Dubai, United Arab Emirates while 30
other customers from the ‘receiving’ category won
consolation prizes which included iPads, Plasma
Television sets and Gas ovens. Also, for sending
money through UBA MoneyGram, 10 foreign-
based customers won return tickets, with 12 months
validity, to visit Nigeria.
Speaking at the draw, Director, Consumer Banking,
Mr. Ilesanmi Owoeye said the promo is a platform
through which UBA rewards its customers using
MoneyGram. According to him, the promo was in
fulfilment of the UBA’s commitment to reward loyal
customers of the bank and a commitment to make
MoneyGram the preferred choice for those who
want to receive money in Nigeria.
