s part of the bank’s strategic growth strategy, UBA
Chad recently opened a new Business Office (BO); the
El-Nimery Business Office situated at Avenue Maldom
Bada Abbas (ex El-Nimery). The new Business Office is the
third to be opened in the city of N’djamena.
The BO which is strategically located beside the central
market; the biggest market in the city of N’djamena, is
expected to contribute significantly to the bank’s increased
deposit drive.
It is worthy of note that the opening of the new UBA Business
Office is part of the bank’s effort to spread its tentacles
throughout the capital city as well as the entire nation; a
move that will help the bank attain its leadership position in
Chad’s financial market.

Celebrates
International Savings Day

BA DRC on October 31, 2012 joined other
financial institutions in Democratic Republic of
Congo to celebrate the International Savings
Day; an annual event organised by KFW (Germany
cooperative) in partnership with Central Bank of
DRC.
The focus of this year’s celebration was on
promoting savings culture among youths through
schools as well as educating youths on the benefits
of saving.
UBA DRC in addition to having a stand at the event
venue where parents, students and prospective
customers could ask questions and make requests
also visited some schools assigned to the bank by
Central Bank of DRC on November 1 and 2, 2012
to present UBA savings products to students and
organise awareness sessions in the schools.
