UBA Congo Holds 1st Strategic Session
In order to create a more productive environment, UBA Congo Brazzaville re-
cently organized a strategic session chaired by DMD, UBA Africa, Mr. Emeke
E. Iweriebor.
During the session, MD/CEO of UBA Congo, Mr. Siaka Fanny made a review
of major customers and pipeline deals, and the bank’s expectation in terms of
deposit, risk asset and revenue. The session was also an occasion for the staff
to present the challenges they are going through in their various departments,
and the ways to overcome them.
UBA Congo, began operation in July 2011, and is determined to achieve the
set objectives by December 2011. This according to DMD, UBA Africa, Mr. Eme-
ke E. Iweriebor is possible, giving the opportunities in various sectors including
oil & gas, wood, mines and telecom.
UBA Africa CEO Visits Côte d’Ivoire
President, Foreign Affairs Minister
A delegation from UBA led by Gabriel Edgal, CEO UBA Africa and Guil-
laume Liby, MD, UBA CDI, recently paid a courtesy call to the President
of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, His Excellency Alassane Dramane Ouat-
tara. The team also paid a courtesy call on Côte d’Ivoire’s Minister of
Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kablan Duncan.
UBA’s willingness to participate in the country’s forthcoming project
finance operations.
CBB-UBA Holds ‘Culture of
Integration’ Session
CBB-UBA held its “Culture of Integration” session at the confer-
ence room of the Port Hotel on recently.
Sessions were handled by Mr. Ben Odukwe, Group Head Resourc-
es, Mr. Eric Bissiongol, Africa’s Head Human Resources and Ikube
Johnson, HR Consultant The Managing Director of CBB-UBA,
Gwen Abiola-Oloke used the opportunity to personally officer a
gift to each participant on the occasion her Birthday.
