We have a routine practice session every weekend. We practice togeth- er to remain fit and strong.

UBA Lions Nigeria is known for making history. We are going into the competition to win the maiden edition of the UBA Chairman’s cup. We are ready to show the entire bank across Africa why UBA Loins is the most feared, the most dominant and the most successful team in the history of the Nigeria Bankers games.
UBA, has participated in all the seasons of the Nigerian Bankers’ Games, and we have won the competition a record six times now. We are the current champion and the most successful team in the history of the completion with a tournament record of 6 cham- pionship gold medals (cups), 5 second place - silver medals and 3 third place medals. UBA Lions are the most dominant and the most successful team in the history of the NBG.

The UBA Cameroon Football Lions has continued to roar for a decade at different football competitions. Created in 2008 the team has valiantly represented the bank in at the Cameroon Interbank competition (AFA Tournament) with some accolades to be proud of. They were Cam- eroon interbank Cup champions in the 2013/2014 and 2014/2015 seasons. In the highly disputed championship, they have emerged champions in the 2012/2013 season and the 2016/2017 seasons. They started the season this year by winning the 2018/2019 Super cup.
The team is composed of players from different units of the bank who create time to train and represent the bank honourably. Led by the Captain Ebolo Ossomo Valere, the team is battling hard this year to ensure some silver ware are secured at the end of the season. For the announced Chairman’s Cup, the team has maintained strict training sessions in a bid to stay fit and ready to go when it kicks off.
