Our achievements include participation in Uganda Bankers Gala and we finished 6th out of 30 teams. We have observed an improved level of fitness and cohesion bankwide amongst both participating and non-participating staff which is good encouragement and growth.
THEO NGOUBA

As captain of the team, I can say that our team will do what is necessary to win this competition. We will participate in this cup not just as players but also as serious contenders. This cup will be the first big competition in which we will participate, since I became captain of the team.
MICK MOUANDZA
/GOALKEEPER/
As a goalkeeper, I want the team to give the best in the days to come. Indeed, for this adventure to be historic, it will have to win trophies during games while applying the instructions and play in the same state of mind.
NARCISSE OUÉDRAOGO

The Lions of UBA Burkina are very excited and are preparing them- selves well to participate in the tournament. We have scheduled friendly matches and participation in a Maracana football tourna- ment in June 2019.
Our main objective is to return to Burkina with the trophy and the
gold medal along with a well- framed photo of the Chairman of the Group giving us the trophy.
UBA Burkina Football Team won the Gold medal at the tournament of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Burkina (APBEF) 2009, Silver medal at the APBEF 2018 tournament
and Gold medal at the 2017 Puukri Youth Association Tournament.

The Chairman’s Cup is a great initiative, because it will allow the subsidiaries to have fun together and create a healthy emulation between the various subsidiaries. We hope that this tournament will be sufficiently publicized to make people outside want to work at UBA and thus strengthen the sense of belonging of the workers.
Of course, we do not fear any team. Nevertheless, we are wary of nations like Nigeria and Cameroon which are great football nations and
we know that this sport is king there as it is here.
Expect nothing short of win- ning the competition from us.

This is a great initiative, it will allow us to strengthen the links with the staff of other subsidiaries.
