If you can see through it, it’s trendy. Sheer tops,
dresses and trousers are still in. For those of us who are
shy, wearing a camisole or shorts under sheer clothing
help cover up your modesty. But for those of us who
are daring, there’s nothing wrong with showing skin
(well at least make sure the necessary bits and pieces
are covered, we don’t need to see THAT much).
Dramatic sleeves are in this
year. Ruffled, bunched,
flared, oversized, you name it!
As long as your sleeves make
a statement, you’re good.
T-shirts with slogans are a great way to make a statement.
Whether political, funny or just plain random, if it has a
catchy slogan on it, you’re good to go. Extra points for
wearing an oversized t-shirt as a dress.
This was a trend back when I was
in primary school in the 90’s, but
like all fashion trends, chokers are
fashionable once again. Though
these days they’re commonly paired
with Bardot tops, they can still be
worn with many things. I personally
like to wear multiple chokers to give
a layered effect.
Inject colour into your wardrobe with pink. Wear different
hues, watermelon, magenta, hot pink, bubblegum, and
most especially fuchsia to be on trend this year. Whether just
a touch of pink in your outfit, or wearing it from head to toe,
pink is the colour for the win.
