This is an amazing stretch of sand and sea which is located in the
Western Region of Ghana, 5 km from Dixcove and a short walk
through the forest. It has a small island 1km offshore that can be
reached by a small boat or by swimming if you are daring.
This resort overlooks the Atlantic with its spectacular white beach
as the name implies and offers visitors not only the very best in
water sports but exotic bars and restaurants. At the Barefoot
Bar on the sandy beach, one can relax and watch an array of
water sports including water skiing and padding on customized
surfboards. Also available for the comfort of visitors are trimarans,
sailing boats and pedalos.
The mausoleum and
memorial park is
located on the High
Street in Accra. It is the
final resting place of
the nation’s founding
President Osagyefo Dr.
Kwame Nkrumah and his
wife Fathia.
