6. Toy Story
As kids we’ve always known
that our toys come alive at
night or whenever we leave
the room. Toy Story is the
movie that confirms this. Tom
Hanks is a drawstring cowboy
named “Woody” and Tim Al-
len is a spaceman action fig-
ure named “Buzz Lightyear.”
The two rivals-turned-buddies
and their eclectic toy friends
unite to survive when they
find themselves in the outside
world. A must see for the
whole family.
7. Finding Nemo
The story centers on Nemo, the only child of a single-
parent clownfish, Marlin. Nemo is kidnapped from the
ocean by an Australian dentist, who plans on giving
the fish to his bratty niece, and it’s up to Marlin and a
cast of colorful sea characters to get him back.
8. Shrek
Shrek is a massive big green ogre with a
heart, it’s 3 sequels spanning over a decade
of family fun that puts an interesting twist
on every fairy tale you can remember from
Prince Charming who is a bit mean, and
a princess who is really an ogre, this movie
would have your crying with laughter and
can be enjoyed by the entire family.
10. The Lion King
The lion king is the best selling Disney
movie ever made. The classic tale of
naivety and betrayal, of homecoming
and young love. The story takes place
in an animal kingdom in Africa, and was
influenced by the biblical tales of Jo-
seph and Moses, and the William Shake-
speare plays Hamlet and Macbeth. A
movie so touching you’ll forget you are
watching a carton. The morals and sub
plots would keep adults as captivated
as the animation and music entertains
the younger generation. A classic gem
the entire family would enjoy.
9. Grease
Nothing compares to the
young love in this 70’s
classic. John Travolta plays
Danny, the leather-clad
leader of the T-Birds, the
coolest guys at Rydell High.
Olivia Newton-John plays
Sandy, the goody-two-
shoes who steals Danny’s heart when they connect on a sum-
mer vacation. Never expecting to see each other again, they
wind up at the same high school, but he has to play it “cool”
and pretend he doesn’t care for her. Great family fun for all.
