Project and Infrastructure Finance
UBA Capital over the last four years
has established itself as the leading
project finance advisory team across
different infrastructure sectors includ-
ing power, transportation and Oil &
Gas. The team is currently engaged in
raising over US $6 Billion for various oil
& gas projects in Nigeria.
Debt Capital Markets
UBA Capital has played a pioneering
role in developing the debt capital
markets in Nigeria and led the league
table in the issuance of corporate
bonds in Nigeria for 2010.
In 2010, UBA Capital successfully
raised N37.5billion for Flour Mills via
the issuance of a 5 year bond (i.e.
which attracted a 12% coupon). This
was the largest corporate bond issue
in West Africa.
Corporate Finance and Mergers & Ac-
quisitions
UBA Capital is a recognised leader for
design and execution of major finan-
cial transactions including multi-juris-
diction, cross-border mergers & acqui-
sitions and has a strong track record in
corporate finance having been involved
in several equity capital raising transac-
tions.
UBA Capital was involved in the develop-
ment of the scheme of arrangement for a
universal bank seeking to adopt a finan-
cial services holding company structure.
