the difference in form and size, why are some goals attainable and some outright impossible? Some factors come to play for anyone choosing to build their bodies. Factors such as genetics, sex, nutrition, and training variables can affect muscle hypertrophy.
Genetics, for one, plays a very import- ant role in bodybuilding. Everybody has
a special genetic feature in their body. Some lose fat easily, some gain muscles quickly, some have very good skin qual- ity, some are broad, some are thick. All these are largely defined by genetics. It is on this premise we will explore the three main body types; endomorph, ecto- morph and mesomorph.
Your knowledge of your body type and genetic potential will go a long way into helping you carve out the meatsuit of your dreams in a real and practical man- ner.
Nutrition and supplementation also play key roles; many argue that without prop- er nutrition, training becomes irrelevant. Proteins and carbohydrate or fat rich meals dominate the bulk of a bodybuild- ers diet, all to fuel the intense training ses- sions and control growth levels of muscle and fat loss.
