there was nobody between myself and my boss. I was just an analyst but was able to have direct line to my boss’. I was a green horn and if I had been in an established old institution, I wouldn’t have been a fresh graduate reporting to an AGM. My learning process was very fast. I was learning from the best. I reported to the AGM who reported to the CEO. It created visibil- ity for me and gave me an unusual insight into how top leaders
think. I learnt more working with these great leaders. It shaped my life. Those being led don’t always understand the thinking of the leadership. They don’t have an idea or insight into how the leadership is thinking. If they have bad leaders they are doomed because they will be groping in the dark’.
