OOMEE, a leading internet
services provider in Cote
d'Ivoire, has partnered with
UBA Cote d'Ivoire to launch its
business in the country. YOOMEE is
also a major customer of the bank.
At a colourful ceremony in Abidjan
to mark the business launch,
Franklin Erebor, MD/CEO, UBA
Cote d'Ivoire, made a presenta-
tion of UBA Cote d'Ivoire's array of
bespoke e-banking products and
solutions to the audience which
included university students and
other guests from both the public
and private sectors.
The event was followed by a
cocktail which had in attendance
the Minister of Post, Information
and Communication Technologies
of Cote d'Ivoire, Mr. Bruno Kone.
UBA Senegal Partners Agency
Security Assistance Proximity (AASP)

BA Senegal has signed a partner-
ship agreement with Agency
Security Assistance Proximity
(AASP), Senegal's national security
agency, established to stem the tide of
insecurity in the country.
The partnership will enable UBA Senegal
issue 10,000 Prepaid cards to the staff
of the Agency and their affiliates. The
AASP card, powered by UBA Senegal

importance of quality education
while calling on other public and
private sector institutions to join hands
in the development of the Education
sector in Nigeria.
Ms. Aso, who was the guest speaker at
the 'Salvage Africa Education Summit'
which held at the Faculty of Education
Auditorium, University of Lagos, spoke
on the theme 'Providing Qualitative
Education in Nigeria-the UBAF success
story' in the development of Nigeria's
education sector.
She highlighted UBAF's Education Inter-
vention programmes, citing the UBA
Read Africa Initiative, UBAF National
Essay Competition and other educa-
tional intervention programmes of the
Foundation across Nigeria and Africa as
key initiatives the bank has embarked
on in contributing meaningfully to
Nigeria's educational development.

rate colours, will serve as a means of
identification for staff of the agency
and their affiliates and also as a
payment card.
The partnership is expected to open
new opportunities for the bank to sell
other products and services to the
agency and its affiliates.
