t is not uncommon to look someone from “head
to toe” before making a visual judgment of the
person’s appearance. The toes play a criti-

Your shoes make a distinct statement about
your personal style. Of course, there are
conventionally ‘right’ shoes for different
occasions but there are no laws that say
you can’t wear what ‘works’ for you just as
long as you wear them with confidence. In
addition to their appropriateness, your comfort
should also be a key consideration in making a
choice of shoes to don on.
If you wear shoes to get you noticed, then be
prepared to invest in quality because good shoes
don’t come cheap. Here are some shoe types for
