• An attempt to unfairly disadvan-
tage an opponent through physi-
cal contact is illegal and is called
a foul.
• You are allowed five fouls per
game. After that, you are removed
from the game.
• On offense, you cannot remain
in the “key” (area designated un-
derneath and directly in front of
basket) for more than 3-seconds. If
there is a 3-second violation, there
will be a subsequent change of
possession.

a basket or just being on a winning
team can really improve your confi-
dence. This is an important aspect of
work life. A staff who can build confi-
dence will find life a lot easier and will
be able to overcome obstacles better.
Social skills. Basketball is a social
sport. It brings people together and
creates bonds and friendships. It is
great for a shy people to really bring
them out and help them meet new
people and learn to socialize. Social
skills are qualities you will carry with
you in the future and in all areas of
their life.
